Nine Network of Public Media, Midtown 
1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee. This Week: Savvy Coders

LaunchCode’s Mentor Center, Central West End
CoderGirl is building a network of support for aspiring female coders. Participants, ranging from beginners to long-time programmers, hone their skills alongside fellow aspiring developers and female mentors from companies like Boeing, MasterCard, and Enterprise.

Arch Reactor: High Altitude Balloon Launch
Saturday, May 4; 3-5pm
St. Louis Public Library Julia Davis Branch – Auditorium
Attendees will be able to find out what happened during the Library Balloon Launch from that morning, discover how high altitude balloons are used in STEM education, simulate their own flight with prediction software, make a temperature humidity sensor with the raspberry pi zero, analyze data to discover today’s atmosphere (clouds, temperature, ozone layers) and learn how schools can join other Saint Louis region educators to get involved in the HAB community!
