This group, which meets once a month, is for champions, advocates, innovators, and practitioners of open data and open government in the Saint Louis region. There are roles for developers, technologists, bureaucrats, policy wonks and anyone else looking to contribute to policy implementation, software development, advocacy and just plain hard work of creating an open data platform for local government in this area.

Happy Hour at T-REX with the BALSA Group

The BALSA Group is hosting its first networking Happy Hour of 2016! Their monthly event is a chance to interact with the BALSA community, re-connect with previous colleagues, and establish new collaborations. UrbanFUTURE Shark Bowl: A Young Entrepreneur Showdown

The UrbanFUTURE students teams will compete, presenting their best business ideas to St. Louis Sharks Dave Spence, Deborah Patterson. Along with our other Sharks and you will determine this year’s winning middle and high school ideas. $25 allows entry, open bar (beer, wine and signature cocktails), appetizer buffet and a vote for the team you think has embodied the spirit of the competition with the best presentation and business plan.
